Because truth.

I’d like to think of myself as a guy who considers criticism and applies it constructively to my art, but I mainly draw for a few reasons: 1. fun and pleasure! 2. to illustrate my thoughts and ideas.

Improving is part of the fun of drawing for me, but I like to work at my own pace, so harsh criticism is not really my thing. Artists are all very different in their motivations, goals and sensitivity.

Kind of just reiterating the point of the post; criticism isn’t always necessarily good.
